For those who don't know, "The Listener" is the weekly series about the
paramedic who can read minds. It was on CTV and NBC, but NBC cancelled
its broadcast of the show a couple of weeks ago, so now it's on CTV only.
Anyway, there are several "Due South" people in various episodes.
Colm Feore (Carver in the "DS" episode "The Duel") plays a recurring
character who is mentoring the main character.
In the most recent episode (seen on CTV but not on NBC), Daniel Kash
(Detective Louis Gardino, of course) played a sleazy private detective.
The same episode also featured Sherry Miller, who, if I'm not mistaken,
played some sort of police superviser in more than one "DS" episode.
And, based on what I saw in the scenes for next week -- for the episode
on August 20, and, I think also on the next episode on the 27th --
Gordon Pinsent will make an appearance. Check your schedules.
In Canada, "The Listener" is on CTV and also on Space. In the U.S., I
don't think it's being broadcast, at all, but maybe you can see episode
on nbc.com, or some such.
